Purplenum Probs

Is it just me or is it way harder for purplenums to find special weapons on hard mode? My friends are viridia and yellowboze and find all kinds of stuff and i have found very few things myself (i owe most of my success to Valten a fomar who gave me the flowen's sword). I don't get it, i'm luck 20, so what's the problem? Anyone know?

You only find annoying mechguns that being to appear frequently, it's just the luck of the draw really =)

Ah well...I've got G'Assassin's sabers and Varista aswell as Flowen's Sword, and also i have M&A60VISE and H&S25JUSTICE but i can't even use them yet lol...How hard is Dark Falz on hard mode? i heard he's got an extra form, how hard is that? i nearly got trashed by Olga Flow on normal mode so i'm expecting the worst... :S

Yes, he has a third form, it's definately the hardest, make sure you have high light resistance as he uses Grants a lot.

Oh, and luck doesn't change the chance of getting a rare, that applies to killing in one with Megid, stuff like that.

You could try looking at the Ragol.co.uk Drop Charts, but at the moment they only apply to Ultimate.

Finally, try killing more stuff! The more things you kill, the more chance there is of getting rares!

For rares, I usually go to the mines. They're PACKED with enemies. Rares and experience, what more could you ask for.

Further to this thread, I play mostly as Sakura, a L118 FOnewearl with Pinkal. She NEVER finds rare weapons! But...yesterday, I played at 006 beats, and found two Inferno Bazookas in the same room in Forest 2 on ult, I kid you not. It's messed up...

Beat time does not affect the chances of rare drops. Ask any staff member. But Pinkal should find lots of good wands and stuff. For my FOmar i got a storm wand from my Pso buddy when playing ult (Pinkal lv 90 FOnewearl). On one ult caves we found 3 storm wands!
