These days you can get software which will change your IP address for you without having to pay
 (bad news for some people)

i bet ya the little basterd lied to the company and got a threat of a virus so they'd change it for him.

I really don't think so.
 If he did wouldn't you think the FBI would be on his case. I know a program called proxy IP that gives you multiple IP's. As easy as that.
