Will this feeling ever go away?

Well, I've been playing PSO since the good ol' DC and I've seen a good amount of rare enemies over the years. But, a couple days ago I was playing online in the ult. caves and BAM a red slime. Even though I've seen numerous red slimes in the past, that same old feeling of excitement kicked in. You know the feeling (or maybe its just me), you feel your heart speed up a bit and anticipation of the rare drop exponentially builds up in you until it feels like your head is going to implode, and an animalistic sense of childlike greed fills you up, etc. I was just curious if anyone else feels the same way, and if they did, does the feeling ever go away?

I was playing V Hard, and unexpectedly found a Nar Lily (I found bounteous Nars), I knew they don't drop rares but I thought I would get some rare unit. I was thrilled, before I find any rare enemy I scrutinize it, they have the most awesome designs. I love seeing Hlideblues, I gotta pipe one on Hard for a Durandal.

Nar lillies are the most common for me. But when I found that hildetor without piping *holy light shines down* I felt lucky =D

but you can never be rid of that wonderful feeling :3

No the feeling doesn't go away. But...alas, I hardly ever see a rare enemy or even a rare item anymore, making the finds all the more exciting for me.

Its always there for me. My brain sort of says "OMFG A RARE THINGY KILL IT NOW GET GOOD STUFF" everything else in the room becomes obsolete

Stupid Oran. I hardly see rare monsters anymore but it's fun seeing them cause it's... rare? I dunno, it's just strangly cool.

hehe i get that same felling.. right when that Pal Rappy drops i can just feel my somache (poop i really cant spell) drop and heart beat speed up.. hoooooo its crazy how all humans have that same instinkt (wow i really cant spell)

And when u finaly find a red slime and kill it, and when it doesnt drop nuthin rare
Then u get that feeling like throw ur xbox/dc/gc out of the window get a sledge, hammers it and then f**k the rest of the consoles

Its weird ive found 3 nars 6 mils 1 pouilly slime 1 hildetorr 1 al 1 pal 1 love rappy

And I have found nothin rare from them :S

but then I got repaid by finding Agito 1975 that covers my bad feelings

But the feeling IS great when u find em, even though I never found anythin from them, the feeling stays the same

The feeling of finding a rare monster is what keeps people playing, may it live on for as long as possible ^_^

Problem is, theyre too rare for me, finding one is like having a birthday, they only come once a year XD

as soon as i see a rare enemy i instantly run out of the room its in and stare at it in awe thinking of the wonderful rare i could hopefully recieve... good times...
