IM shadow 491 and im a noob. i was Doin fine until Something said Charecter file curropt and i lost every thing. :'(
what do i do and how did this happen plese help if you can.

That's happened to me a few times. Execept I got total data corruption and, as Faulkie said, there is no going back. In which case you'll be wanting a new character *holds finger up in teh air* choose teh FOmarl

you used a non-Nintendo brand memory card didn't you? i happened to me, it sucked, lost like 60-70 hours of play. you have to use a Nintendo memory card on the pso games, it doesn't matter with most other games, just pso.

if you haven't said anything to about agreeing to delete all of the files becuase one is corrupt i heard something that can save you. as the GC logo pops up when you turn it on, hold A so that you go to the GC menu. go to them memory card and delete the guildcard file but leave the other two. then it'll only remake that one file and your characters would be saved.

if it corrupted because you used a bad memory card, though, i would suggest just buying a Nintendo card and starting over or it'll just keep happening.

btw, get a fonewearl, they whoop a fomarl's butt

my friend got corupted so i put his card in 2nd slot and mine in 1st and pulled his chars over and it came back to life.. try it i might work for you

Offline, FOnewearl will always be better than FOnewm, even in Ruins, the 30% boost to Gi- and Ra- techs the FOnewm gets is not enough for him to kill monsters with one less spell, so if you need 5 Rafoies to kill a bunch of Arlans in Ruins with a FOnewm, you will also need 5 Rafoies with a FOnewearl.

And FOmarl is the worst FO, by very far.
Unless you're online, she will be a support whore, and that's about it for that character.

That's highly subjective, losing 60 hours to someone who barely has the time to play is like losing 300 hours for someone who plays more often.

Avoid GAME's cheap looking GC card, it will corrupt PSO files even when it's not in use
