Look on the bottom of your xbox and if it was before 23rd of october 2003 then your at risk i believe there is info on the xbox website.
It wasnt 16.3 million, most xbox were sold after the faulty ones were taken out of production. The actual risk of death, fire, shocks, game destruction is 1 in 10,000 :S Better safe than sorry though, mine was made just after the date but they thought mine mite be so may just order the "power brick" to see it
