Yeah, if I sold something rare I'd be really mad at myself... maybe even have to soft-reset to keep the item rather than the new exp (how do you do that again?).
About the swords mentioned earlier: I'd definitely reccomend Red Sword, as I have one myself; I got one, fully grinded, by trading one of my Frozen Shooters to an offline friend.
That thing is almost exactly as powerful as the powered-up Delsaber's Buster, which is quite a feat for a sword (of course you outgrow the Delsaber's Combo after awhile... my RAmar uses a Red Saber/Secret Gear and my HUmar uses a God Hand/DB's Shield, but only a few levels away from using that Kasami Bracer ). The Red Sword seems to have decent accuracy, too... for a sword weapon, anyway.
