I have a sort of 'pack', so to speak, myself. But, as I'm sure many/all of us do, I have a lot of friends; therefore several different groups of people that I hang out with. A leader is someone who is a sort of authority figure or someone whom others look up to. Too many people are taking the cowards way out, and that's only for people who are...well cowards.
I'd like to point out that looking up to an individual and following them are two completely different things. Looking up to one is someone who perhaps is your role model or person who you greatly admire. A follower, as opposed to a leader, is a person that does not think for themselves; one who does as the leader does, no matter the cost or how they actually feel about such actions. *sigh* Unfortunately, more followers exist than leaders.
That is all, for now.
