Ahhhh...much better. Those little typo's made me read it like I had the hiccups, but it's much smoother now. I noticed some of the changes and they seemed to flesh out the action much better. I personally like the addition of Malachai's impulses (i.e. "checking out" Vasi). Not that I'm a fan of womanizing, but those little traits give the characters a much more "human" personality. It was a welcomed change and a good addition for shaping Malachai's character a little more.
