the following comments are from my own view, but I am far from being an expert at the game.
If you do make a new char just for the Sange and Yasha, not only will you have to level your char up till Ultimate level standard but theres a chance your new char will surpass your current one!
Skylys are your best bet if you want your swords, but of course, there are hunter weapons that skylys will not find.
again, in my own opinion, redrias find amazing support stuff (armours and units) as well as some of the higher tier items (lavis thing). But before that, you'll be finding an awful amount of slicers (unless they're your thing?)
If you're feeling adventurous (and do not want to make your current char obsolete), create a skyly (or similar good hunter id) force so you can trade items back and fourth from your pinkal char! =D
Lastly, yes, the char's name is the deciding factor for the section ID.
