As some of you may have noticed me mentioning, a router is the last thing I need to buy before getting online (my BBA and Keyboard Adapter should be arriving next week). Unfortunately, this is proving more difficult than I thought. First of all, I have seen prices ranging from $25 to $300. Second and more importantly, there's almost no way to hardwire this, as the router and cube will be on different floors entirely. Thus, I'll be needing a wireless router.
For the purposes of PSO, how reliable is a wirelss router? I know someone who owned a LinkSys wireless router before going off to his college (where everything is hardwired), and he claims it never gave him any problems. I asked the opinion of an online friend who seemed to know about routers, but he claimed that "any router that isn't complete crap would be pricey." So now I don't know what to believe.
I was hoping someone here who has a reliable (and hopefully not TOO expensive) wireless router could point me in the direction of its website. Thanks.
