My dad and I are about even in the aiming area, but I can still manage to out shoot him once in a while. We do chase deer out to people, its what we call dogging. We make howling noices to scare the deer, but its main use is to let everyone know were we are. We chase them to people that are a watch area. We used have about 4 dogs out there as well, but now we are down to 2, and the one doesn't leave its owners side often. 30-30's are nice buch guns yes. Has anyone tried bow hunting? Not just compound(the normal ones.), but also crossbow as well?...poor guy, lol......30-30's are a nice little bush gun to.....does your hunting party ever tried chasing deer out to ppl......my hunting gang hasn't had much luck with it.......I think we got 2 deer chasing......the rest of the deer that we got, were from just going to and from our stands or where we were going to start chasing.
As most people can see, I'm quite the gun fanatic.....
