Hhmmmmmmm well you still got them. 
I felt very lucky when my FOmar found an item as good as that for him in Hard Mines, and both were not but two rooms apart. Of course I kept the stronger one (It was like three higher in Defense and five in Evasion) and gave the weaker one to my brother's RAmar.
I haven't checked the drop rates on it, but I imagine it was a rare find. Though I have + and don't know the altered drop rates. When I learned that the drop rates were lowered I felt cheated with my Luminous Field. That I didn't deserve it. But I'm not online either and it's harder to hunt rares by your self....
