Sometimes, talking to someone really can make a world of difference. And you have people here who are willing to listen ^_^ When I get depressed I find a way to vent, be it through drawing, writing poetry, or just turning up the music really loud for awhile to vent. Whatever helps and doesn't leave a negative effect can be useful.
