"Amplus" means "ample" (large) in Latin, and "Umbra" means shadow: The Great Shadow. I think he represents life, and the Great Shadow death.

I don't know about The Great Light, but wasn't the Profound Darkness destroyed already? I don't think Amplum Umbra is that, but I wouldn't know, because I haven't beaten PS4. Someone else will be able to tell us, I hope. Big Grin
