Hmm.. the point of teams..

• Can allow you to take part in Team Events (Such as the current PSO: BB Login Cup in Japan) to get prizes, build up char info, weapons, etc.
  
• Will not only use your char stats for your own use, but for teams use aswell to show everyone your favourite team is also the bestest team!
  
• Adds to your profile
  
• Will let you use a feature 'Team Chat' which means you can chat openly to everyone else in your team, whether they are in the same game/lobby/block/ship as you - a good tool to see what others are upto and whether anyones free to play!

Thats all i can think of atm, but theres most likely some other stuff aswell, special features i couldnt tell you until they get the dam servers back up! XD
