1) hucaseal is perfect for beginners
2) a- knowing the maps, the puzzles, the switches -> learn the maps and guides
2) b- know how to kill something quickly (a.k.a. 1on1 TA technique)
it usually consists of doing NH NH NHH combos from the side. remember that the third part of most weapon animations will leave you with a recovery second so just skip the third attack unless you know you can finish off an enemy with it. and from the side... well, seeing as most enemies attack frontally, attacking from the side or behind is obviously a better idea than from the front.
furthermore, dont cancel eachother out. it still has to be figured out how much damage cancel BB creates, but number 1 idea of time attack is that each player takes care of one enemy until the room / wave is cleared out.
3) dont try TA tricks (like squeezing through the rocks in c8 ) unless you are really doing TA. and those tricks have to be checked if they're still working on BB anyway.
anyway, its pure training. the more you play, the more you try to improve and learn, the better and quicker you are.
good luck & have fun
