the program will always create the snapshots as bmp files in that folder. even if its not existant. in that case it will be (re-)created. so unless you find a setup-file and change the target url for snapshots, they'll be always to be found there.

best bet is to install a pictureviewer (good, free ones are xnview or irfanview for example) and convert the snapshots into jpg, gif or even better, png format so you dont waste too much hdd-space / bandwidth.
