Sil'fer's daggers are just scary, so use Guard defence cards. If you can't run away or block her off, you can try to kill her first 
. It takes too long to "wait" for her to die from her Cross Scar/Blade dance.
They also like to turn themselves Aerial so Aerial assassin might be good. I had great difficulty with this the first time. Eventually, I beat them using Reiz. I remember after Sil'fer died, Kranz equipped two Shifta Merges and was trying to kick me to death! Pierce ^_^.
