I didnt mean to speak sharply. Again serpent, you have to define racism and the degree to which it is carried into action. This is something I have learned over the years, some of you may call me a free radical but hey thats just me...
For example, if you think racism is judging other cultures before we know them, that is as I hate to say it part of human instinct!
Back in prehistoric times, when man was split into tribes just like any other species on the planet (Lions in seperate prides will fight) we developed the instinct to fear what we do not know, this was for survival. If you met another tribe back then they would likely kill you to wipe out hunting competition in the area! So to offer yourself openly to them and create vulnerability was un-acceptable. So from this we can see that anyone who says they have never had a racist thought is lying, because we all fear the un-know un-intentionally.
The problem is the same as with elitists and pso, its ok to fear things but overcome that fear and do not become closed minded mobs just as the KKK were in your example Serpent. Attrocities are commited when humans fail to see other humans as part of the same species. They let fear rule their decisions and they let mutual reassurance lead to the deaths of millions. We cannot be to accusing of people who are fearful, but at the same time becoming too fearful ourselves will undoubtedly lead to the pain of others.
Be cautious, but keep things in perspective! Relating this to PSO, it is only a game after all!
