Ok, you won't realise your silliness, so I will give some reasons now. I imported Play-Yan, so I already play movies and mp3s on my DS, and together with the memory card, it cost me around £50. Sure, this is extra money on top of the DS itself, but for the PSP you need to buy the memory card extra, and last time I checked a 512mb Sony memory card duo (which is used in the PSP) cost $120!
There are many good games on the Gamecube. Some may appear 'kiddy', but only someone who is a kid trying to look mature, or someone foolish would actually be put off the quality of them like this. Please forgive me if I am wrong, but I am fairly sure you are under 18, and a 'kid' yourself. Taking Pikmin (and the sequel) as prime examples, some people would dismiss them as being childish, but anyone with some sense would see they are quite wonderful, unique games. Just to prove you further wrong, here are 10 'non-kiddy' good Gamecube games: Killer7, Resident Evil 4, Timesplitters: Future Perfect, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2, F-Zero, Baten Kaitos, Soul Calibur 2, Metal Gear Solid, Phantasy Star Online.
You say the stylus and two screens are bad because they make developers need to think of new ideas? How terrible, we might even continue to see many original games on the DS! DS games can still be great without making use of all the features though. I prefer to play Mario 64 DS (minigames aside) with the buttons, yet I still think it's a brilliant game.
I don't really see why you keep having such silly false ideas about the DS and Gamecube. You're missing out on some truly excellent gaming on the Gamecube, and while less with the DS (as it has been out shorter) still missing out by being so narrow-minded. Reconsider your opinions on both consoles
