What are your mag's stats? You should have atleast 140 POW on it, and DEF should still be 5. And what other weapons do you have?
You shouldn't use a Partisan type also. Swords may be slower, but they do alot more damage. If you can kill a group of enemies in either 3 Sword attacks, or in 4 Partisan attacks, the Sword is alot better because you aren't left open between the combos.
What is the thing that's killing you most? Being surrounded by enemies? Critical hits from Belras? Dark Falz? Give some more info please.
