Does Nintendo Really Need a Miracle?

Basically what I've been trying to say is that Sony and Microsoft put themselves out there and do a lot of different things, which had lead to great success. Nintendo however, has sat back and done their own thing which obviously did not work out too well for them.

How can you say that when Xbox and PS2 feed people the same old stuff over and over again (especially shooters) and Nintendo get out there to be original. They've gone places Microsoft and Sony wouldn't dare to tread, so they're the ones putting themselves out and trying new things.
