PSU is on PS2. Sony would freak (in a good way) if SEGA wanted to make PSO for PSP. They could even make the games unlock things in each other, or they could be the same game, but some items can only be found in one or the other, like pokemon red and blue! Sony would be one rich company...
Nintendo likely feels betrayed by SEGA's switch from Nintendo to Microsoft. Now SEGA has forced themselves into a corner with Sony. The only way out would be if SEGA got the balls to make a Dreamcast 2.
