That's what I do whenever my mom is made a me because she likes to threaten to smash my Nintendo stuff (once she came rather close) and that way, I can make sure my game data stays safe from her. Though, if she ever did break any of my Nintendo stuff, I'd make her pay for it, and I have probably a $1500-$2000 collection of stuff.)
