You seem very ignorant to the fact that hackers hack not because "sega fought them", but because they have taken the easy was through PSO and hacked, using glitches or AR, etc. to their advantage. They use it to get what they want in the game, not to rebel. :p
Hackers have ruined PSO, and there is no escaping that fact. Ever wonder why there is no Flow Gene? Ever wonder why there is no Red Ring?
That is because hackers hacked the freakin hell out of the PGF, the gene. And due to that fact, sega decided to ban the Gene, therefore also leading to the immposibility to get the Red Ring. For you need the gene to get the Ring.
Hackers have also ruined PSO in the ways that on GC, DC, XboX, and the PC version, they found ways to hack the hell out of PLAYERS and screw up their data, sometimes even perminatnly. Due to that fact that hackers would FSOD, BSOD, or do something that would curropt your data in some way, people have quit PSO, or at least spent countless hours to obtain items, or other things on it, only to find that these hackers would ferg with their data, and delete their hard earned work.
I even knew of someone who had some how gotten the BLACK RING. And was FSOD'd/BSOD'd shortly after obtaining it.
Is that enough to show that hackers have caused enough hell? Is that enough to show that because of all the illegits, the legits can't get the Dark Flow/Red Ring? Enough to show that the legits HAVE suffered from the ilegits?
Dont even try to give a good name to the hackers. Irrelivent to what you say, there is no way to actully give them a good name. And dealing with it just sometimes isn't an option. >_>
This isn't supposed to be an insult. Nor is it directed to one single person; its to everyone who has said something about this. It is to show that we're not just biching and moaning for the hell of it.
Edit: (And they DO have nasty intentions to the legits and others. Hence NOL'ing on BB. They've attempted to perminantly create other peoples players into a level 12 CPU)
