That all depends. My main character is a RAnger, but his main weapons are a Frozen Shooter, L&K14 Combat and a Spread Needle. I'm always inside mechgun range and I have a high chance of getting hit. I never stand far away and just snipe monsters, unless I'm using my Gush Beam to restore health or I'm attacking Ob Lillys.
