the %'s on weps matter like you said:

the %'s increse the damage you do in that enemy type.(so a dc with 50% dark would do more then a bkb+80 with 0% dark.[look them up on the database on gc])

i confused dc(dreamcast) with dc(double cannon)
but yes a % weapon (any weapon) is capable of alot more damage then a weapon with no %, expecialy on dc(dreamcast) since the % increase the atp of the char+ atp of weapon.
imagine a hucast with a dc(double cannon) with 50 % native +lvl30 shifta, the damage would be awsome.
