if i were you i would use ranged weapons like handguns with good % since the evp and dfp will rarely be used, as for blade weapons, be carefull when you equip a batle unit, since it will raise your atack speed maybe even too much, when using a partisan,(either with batle unit or not) use a normal, hard, hard.....when using the batle unit, if you try to make 3 normal atacks, you will only hit 2, the 3rd one is stoped by the criatures.
about the god hand (nice weapon) use it on forest, caves or mines, since on the 1st and 2nd zone the criatures do not come in packs and in the mines the criatures fall down (depending on difficulty), on the ruins, avoid using single target weapons, but still the double saber is a good chice for any zone with any atack speed.
