The 21st Panzer Division of the German army also had taken over and decimated many other nations within Europe during WWII. Many battles were won with this particular division... primarily due to the heavy artillery it carried followed by intense air strikes (as stated, the Blitzkriege)
I like how ST makes the weapon names in different languages... sounds cooler because ... well, it just does 0_o. Especially the French names... I might not be a fan of their politics and what not... but they sure have a good language and sure as hell know how to eat good
