I keep one weapon on my character (hucast) charge vulcans max grinded with 40% hit.
You do not have ata issues if you hunt for a weapon with good hit%.
Rare weapons are over-rated, search for any weapon with the charge effect and a good hit%.
As your attacks gain in accuracy throughout the combo, try Normal Hard Special.
Charge uses a small amount of money which you can easily make back to do alot more damage. A charge calibur will do you fine.
Undoubtedly there are some brilliant rares out there, it is true. But, when you will find those depends on how lucky you are, what your ID is and where you are in the game. Unless your piping rare enemies offline then you really are not going to want to try to find something too uber.
(Then again the main reason I have but one weapon on my character is mainly because we get a few power cuts here. One of those in game and it's bye bye to anything un-equipped/un-banked. Also, FSOD can have the same effect when playing online.)
