I remember someone telling me ATA gives damage to gun weaponry. And obviously accuracy. And str for blade type weaponry. It wouldn't suprise me either way, I've experienced both in RPGs. But it would make more sense in this game for str to be physical damage PERIOD and ATA for accuracy only. It would be kind of unbalanced if you could just do gun and get damage and ATA at once. Though pure casters get TP and damage in one go for their class.
And if you're refering to hitting more as damage, I'm not that far gone. Like if your character's average damage is 100, and you have a 67% chance to hit, then your average damage is 67. Common sense stuff I know. But what I'm refering to is damage-damage.
