Sorry for the double post... but I say the oldies were better because they were. Don't get me wrong. I loved Adventure and Adventure 2. Heroes not as much, and I like Shadow... but they aren't as fun as say, Sonic 3 & Knuckles or Sonic 2. Everything was right in those games as far as I'm concerned, from gameplay to music. And I don't suck in the 3D ones either. I beat all the missions in Adventure 1 in about 4 days, all A's in Adventure 2 in about 2 weeks (shorter when I got the cube version). I didn't have the patience with Heroes, and I got bored of Shadow after doing the Final Story.

Not saying that Shadow was bad, but I played the levels so much that I didn't feel like going back and getting all A's right away.
