You obtained all 180 Emblems in SA2 in two weeks? lol...

Several Shadow the Hedgehog stages are really brightly-coloured (Digital Circuit, Mad Matrix, Circus Park, Glyphic Canyon, Sky Troops, Iron Jungle, Lava Shekter, I probably forgot some).

It never was the game's goal to go from point A to point B as fast as possible in SA1 or SA2, especially not in SA2, where points mattered much more than time.
