hopefully- the actual proper way to descrie it is 'in a hopeful manner' but most people say 'hopefully there is cheese for lunch', as in 'with any luck' but its not correct to say that, because you're saying 'in a hopeful manner there will be cheese for lunch'. you could say 'hopefully i will eat my cheese' but this means something totally different to what most people mean it to say
