No, the mag boosts the base stat, and that can never exceed max (hence the word "max" is used). Sorry.

If you don't mind me asking though... How? The Fonewm's MST is off of max by 402 at level 200. Using all 150 materials for MST, you would still be 98 off... unless you are using God/Minds too... Are you? That'd be a bit excessive to do that just so you don't need a mag... (but it'd be really 1337 Big Grin )
