Well... one of my sillier Mario Kart memories resides on the GBA version of Mario Kart. I was doing time trial on Koopa Beach and I was just fooling around, and I eventually discovered that messed up glitch where you can use a mushroom just past the starting line to jump the water and make the game think you just went around a whole lap 
So I did that three times in a row and finished the race for a disturbingly cheated record . There were so many shortcuts you could do with mushrooms in that game. Rainbow Road especially
Another messed up one was when I was driving up the sharp slope in the DK course on the N64 and I jumped into the wall at an odd angle went THROUGH the wall, Lakitu came down, scooped me up, put me down, and the game thought I had done a whole extra lap! Ahhh, the weirdness of glitches.
