Actually kireek we are both wrong. It was actually Sega who invented the analogue controls, used first in arcade games of the mid-eighties, so cool, thanks sega. Sorry for that bit of mis-information people.
As for the monopoly, yes it would seem that way wouldn't it. They were the sony of the past i agree, but i dont know if they broke any monopoly laws per-say, they just dominated i guess.
