A while back,somebody i...loved died.I blamed myself for not saving her,much as i did with my sister.In the end my feelings built up,and i wrote this.

As i lie here,battered,broken
My heart torn in pieces
My feelings go unspoken
As my love,your life-force ceases
I hate myself for failing you
And wish the past could change
You probably hate me too
Its the least i could expect
They say death is written in stone
But that i don't believe
For my misgiving,i cannot atone
My heavy heart cannot be reliev'd
If you could return to me
For just a short while
I only pray that you'd see
I can't continue this hideous trial
You face still haunts me in my dreams
Your memories lend their sweet embrace
You are never truly gone,it seems
I still visualize your smiling face
In my dreams i held you close
And as i wept,cried
You stared up at me
And did nought but release a sigh
I don't know how to carry on
Without you at my side
But i know that you will push me on
Through life,to continue the ride
Your heart keeps me in this life
I will not,cannot give in
Though all around me is full of strife
I bear the heaviest sin
As i failed not once,or even twice
Three times i got it wrong
Its my fault,but you paid the price
Yet within me is your song
You said we live in a cynical world
And i agree with that all the way
As the way this so-called 'fate' unfurled
I have nought else to say...
