How do they equip them?

XD There should be a pinned topic for this. Just discussed this in Forge's EpIII board recently after Break used Yamigarasu in a cutscene.

If he can equip a Yamigarasu, then maybe he's friends with Valetta. How did she equip that rifle?

The only thing I could think of that let ST do this is when the NPC spawns, they created him using it... like if you make a Humar who's first item slot is a Red Mechgun (through various hacks) he will have that equipped when he first starts... however, a weapon equipped like that will be removed after using an item. (Just like if you use weapon MST boosts to equip higher canes.)

Maybe that's why Zoke died - he couldn't use any mates, and the RAmar's Resta is weak...
