Fire Emblem players?

Yea...I got the game today after months of searching and lost opportunities. And I'm not allowed to play it till my birthday...3 weeks or so away
 So, can anyone tell me what its like? I've heard its like Advance Wars...but I havent really played that either, so...any comments on it? |
