That's actually a pretty original idea (Especially if it's my room! BWAHAHAHA*cough* what does everyone else think?)
Being serious though </end coughing> it's a shame you can't have a room per group of people, that'd be amazing, so we'd have to really think about who gets extra items for their room.
How about everyone put's their money into a kind of virtual pot and then a competition is held, with the winner recieving the money to spend on room decorations (Or whatever)?
