Differences between the sexes still exist?

Do differences between males and females of the same race still exist apart from looks (obviously), animations and equippable gear? What are they like?

I hope 'yes', because the techs ability/stats differences worked well in PSO, although it wasn't always fair . I think it's much more realistic and original and fun.
