Yeah, that would hold up in a Japanese court where internet propietary is big business due to the culture being so tech heavy. But chances are it wouldn't hold up here in the US where the guy is located. Mainly due to what he is damaging not being "real". This is unless of course Sega can show a loss of business due to it. And seeing how PSU is going strong I doubt they could show that.

Yeah. But in the US and the UK, it isn't that big of a deal. Anyway, the UK always seems to be stiffed as regards online services, so it's to be expected. Although as for damaging what isn't real, some hacks can damage the actual hardware, can't they? So that I believe WOULD be grounds for legal action. Sega can show a small loss of business, because some people would stop their guardian licences if they were hacked continually, but again, it wouldn't be a very big loss. So the figures would show only a marginal loss, most likely covered up by an influx of new users.
