<SPAN class=mediumtext><SPAN class=mediumtext><SPAN class=mediumtext><SPAN class=mediumtext><SPAN class=mediumtext><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Sonic Team of Japan have announced that after all this time, they're finally closing down the SEGA Dreamcast and Nintendo Gamecube <EM>Phantasy Star Online</EM> servers. This means that you'll no longer be able to play online on the above mentioned platforms.</FONT></P><P><FONT face=Arial>The servers will be shutdown for good on 31st March 2007 at 23:59 (Japanese Time), making that your last time to get online! However, for the whole of March, Sonic Team are taking away all Hunters Licenses and making the game free for online play.</FONT></P><P><FONT face=Arial>You'll no longer be able to purchase a 90-Day Hunters License as the last time to buy one of them was yesterday, however, until 29th January, you'll still be able to buy a 30-Day Hunters License for online play on the Nintendo Gamecube.</FONT></P><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">There will be server maintenance on the Nintendo Gamecube & SEGA Dreamcast <EM>Phantasy Star Online</EM> servers during March 1st 2007 between the times of 12:00 & 14:00 (Japanese Time).</FONT></P><P><FONT face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">During this time please do not attempt to connect to the servers as if maintenance is happening on your corresponding servers at that time then you will be automatically disconnected after connecting. If you happen to be playing during these times please disconnect otherwise at the time when maintenance starts you will be disconnected from your game no matter what! You are given 10 minutes warning via. constant on-screen messages counting down until the time the upgrades start.
