Online theoretically you can get two unbreakable grinding attempts - these are usually your first ever grind on the weapon ("There is no chance of failure") unless you have zero luck, and on your luck 3 day you can get the same prediction for your second grinding attempt. Every other attempt thereafter seems to be "Very High", "High", "Fifty-fifty" and... well I've never taken a grind above 8 so I don't know what they say after that.
The reason for having a backup weapon/meseta when grinding online isn't just about the possibility of failure though, it's the risk of doing stuff over the internet. Pop something in for a grind just as the internet decides to drop a packet or two and disconnect you from the game and there's always a chance your lovingly hand-crafted 11-star Dual Sabre of Relentless Destruction 44% Light (8) could disappear into the ether.
However, my reason for updating is I think I've discovered a stupidly slow way to unfathomable riches and am about to test it out. I will update in a few hours to let you all know how it worked out.
