I've played this game about 3 times now, and all I can say is "Wow". My friend even bought me a subscription to LIVE, just so I could play with him and not have to use his brother-in-laws profile.
The game should have fixed all those glitches before release. Like the not being able to move or shot glitch that randomly happens when you chainsaw someone. Or the voice glitch, thank god that was fixed. but also, the bullet delay on guns. Especially the sniper rifle, that gun is about as effective as throwing a stick online. I'm pretty decent at the game, it's not uncommon for me to get 10+ kills in a normal 8-10 round match. Call of Duty 2, now, is so much easier a game to play because with Gears, you can feel the weight of the characters. The weight of the guns and bullets, which is an issue that needs to be addressed as well. You shouldn't be able to trail you bullets from seven feet away and see each individual bullet on the assault rifle. I think the active reload is useful at times and a hassle at others. Useful on things like the Sniper Rifle, and the assault rifle and pistol. Useless on the Torque Bow and Boom Shot. As for the bosses, I can't say, all I played of the campaign was enough to learn the controls and fine tune my playing style a bit before going back on LIVE. I do enjoy however, rolling as the five point Crips, all of us (the team) playing the black guy, then Crip Walking on downed enemies (Whipping out the smoke grenades on Warzone, holding the aiming trigger, then walking back and forth, side to side. ) And just generally, rolling with my nine.
My team and I are pretty decent at this game when we all can get together. So look us up if the EU aren't different than the American ones.
My gamertag is Ch33d3r add me and we'll play sometime. Although it's not like I can be on everyday. Maybe once every few weekends or something.
