And all men care about looks to some degree. If they say they don't they are DIRTY DIRTY LIARS. Not all men are look obsessed but all guys have some kinds of standards they set out for themselves. And actually so do women. The amount of times I have heard girls conversing about how hot some guy is and how they're planning to rip him apart from his girlfriend just so they can leap in for the kill actually DISGUSTS ME.
My point? Everyone is equally as bad as each other.
Anyway, if stereotypes had no truth to them whatsoever they wouldn't exist. You can't generalise but equally both sexes ARE different and ACT different. I don't care if your freind "somerandomgirl" completely acts like a guy. She'd be one of the exceptions that prove the rule.
Both sexes have flaws. Humanity as a whole is flawed. Flawed just means imperfect, I didn't say we're all horrible. Just flawed. Everything is flawed!
I love my girl and god forbid if she went through some accident or other I'd stay with her no matter if her looks changed.
However, if I was single and some really ugly person (in my eyes) wanted a relationship with me I wouldn't give no matter how nice they were. I'd be their friend though, truth is I just always saw girls who werent attractive to me as other guys. That means I treat them equally, it's a GOOD thing!
I refuse to be told by some hyper-feminist that I have to make myself see people whom I don't find attractive as if I did find them attractive.
Damn right I would never dismiss anyone right off but it's my choice who I decide to be with and I have a partner whom I love. I really like to get on with people, but on my own terms. I won't ever let anyone tell me who to like. And I won't let random women pressurise me into things because it's politically incorrect for me not to find them attractive! What the eff is that all about huh?
I don't allow my views of what beauty is to be shaped by magazine covers or the media. In fact for me unconventional is great. I really love my girlfriend!
But equally, I won't let you or anyone else tell me that I'm not allowed to follow conventional beauty should I decide to at some point. Damn it is MY choice, not anyone elses!
Conventional media, get off my back. Stuck up feminists, also get off my back. I don't want either opinions thrust in my face now or ever
- thx
Edit:
Most of that wasn't aimed at Pink or anyone else, it transformed from a doubt on someones post into a rant at hyper-feminism and political correctness. Oh, and the media to I believe. One of my best rants ever...
Oh and Nomercy, you look like my friend Ben. A lot
Yeah no shit dude. Males are visually oriented creatures. We come in for the looks, but stay for the substance.
Pink to say otherwise, even of women, is completely assinine and hypocritical. Not only is it a farce to sit there in you psuedo-indiscrimitable seat of judgment and look down on us for focusing on looks that only makes you a liar in the process. Humans look for symmetry and health (unconsciously) in a mate. Whether in which to pursue a relationship or just to fuck. This is not being shallow, it's being natural.
Anyone remember Ria? Now, she seemed like a lovely girl, but that fuzzy photo we have of her was not flattering. That's not saying she's 00b3r ugly, just so much as I'M not attracted to her.
