You're right Pink, and I don't focus mainly on looks. I pay most attention to personality. But I need both! I would never be with anyone sufficiently lacking in either department. And if you really like someone because they're nice with a great personality but they aren't (to you) attractive, that's just called being friends.
I'm not mainstream myself, and actually no I don't look for symmetry to a large extent, if by symmetry you mean conventional looks EkwEE! But if you meant literal symmetry, well; if you're too un symetrical that's called being deformed o_O don't think I could fall in love with someone like that.
I find conventional looks boring. Boring in the extreme!
My point mainly is that I have to be with someone whom I find attractive. So yes, I do need the looks. But not beauty in general, or what is percieved to be beautiful by most peoples instincts or by the majority of society. I decide for myself.
To be honest I just see all women as general people now except my girlfriend. I don't really even register if I would find anyone else attractive because it's just not what I'm even looking for. I'm happy as I am.
And if it's university proffessor material not to even realise when you are making a generalisation, I have mostly pitty for the general public

I find the reason I don't always speak up sbecause I'm understood all too well and so many people just have closed minds and use label words.
- And yes nomercy, take it as a compliment
