The news last night called him 'a troubled individual' but what I would rather want to find out is why the owner of the store where he bought one of the gun and ammo (A Glock 9mm) sold it to him. I don't understand what a college student would want with a handgun unless they were planning something like that. Also, he was sent for counselling by his English teacher because his writing was so disturbing. He had a record of depression, too. I'd think that would be enough to block him from obtaining weapons.
