when playing for example forest online, the spaws will be with a higher number of enemys, same goes to caves, as for mines and ruins the spaws are the same. so basicly online you have a bit more chances to find rares in the 1st 2 zones.
if you found more rares in less time, then it is just luck, the drop rates are % of the rare item, don't think it will always apear.
